CAPTAIN User Community Forum Announced

Mobile and In-Station Access.

September 1, 2006...Glastonbury, CT. In order to provide better communications to and among the growing CAPTAIN user community Telepartner initiated a Forum accessable from in vehicle and in station computers.

The forum is envisioned as a readily accessible source of changes, problems, announcements, tools, and general open exchange of information. This is particularly important for individuals using CAPTAIN who work 24 hours/day seven days a week.

Initially the forum will be devided into discussion groups each related to a CAPTAIN system component (field reporting, NCIC, etc.), a technology (data communications, modems, etc.), training, or any topic added by a forum member.

The Simple Machines Forum provides the technology to power the site which can be  accessed using any browser. Access is limited to properly authorized CAPTAIN users.
